Microcapsules containing isophorenediisocyanate (IPDI) for use in self-healing polymers were successfully fabricated via interfacial polymerization of polyurethane (PU). The preparation of PU prepolymer and microencapsulation of IPDI healing agent were proved by Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) and Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis (TGA).
