چکیده

feeder reconfiguration is the process of changing topology of distribution system by changing the open or closed status of tie or sectionalizing switches. Whereas this taskbalances load of feeders and laterals, it leads to active and reactive loss reduction. Distribution systems are consist ofnumerous configuration, so finding the best radial topology without any unsupplied area and minimum power losses make reconfiguration to a complex problem. In this paper a newheuristic method is proposed to reducing search space in reconfiguration problem. This method is consists of two stages.Moreover, despite of consideration of limited number of switches, all ordinary lines can take apart in optimization process in an intelligently way, so new lines maybe suggested asmaneuverable lines to dispatching center. Proposed approach is hybridized with both of genetic algorithm (GA) and ant colonyoptimization (ACO) algorithm..The Simulation results demonstrated the considerable loss reduction with a fast convergence.
