خلاصه مقاله:
In the field of applied linguistics, more and more researchers and practitioners treasure what discourse analysis has to offer to language teaching. Discourse analysis is concerned with generalizing across real-instances of language in use and typically works with transcribed spoken data. This paper aims to focus on the contribution of discourse analysis as a crucial aspect of applied linguistics on language teaching. The salient point is the relationship between sentences and the world in terms of whether or not sentence is used to make statements which can be assigned truth-value. This study sheds some further lights on how classroom discourse of interaction has a main intellectual impact on the development of language teaching.
