چکیده
Pinter’s The Room is an image of an aging woman’s confrontation with the reality of anxiety and death; It turns around a tension that is tension between the desire to be left alone and to know more about what one wants to be left alone by, that is the concept of anxiety clarified by Kierkegaard, antipathetic sympathy and sympathetic antipathy ; one both loves to know something and evades it because it may become a threat to his existence. To guarantee her existence and survival Rose searches for a safe refuge to evade the menacing others. The aim of this paper is finding traces of Kierkegaard’s existential concepts of anxiety and loneliness in the face of death and struggle for survival.کلیدواژه ها
