خلاصه مقاله:
In this Paper,forced convection heat transfer in a lid-driven square cavity having a circularbody is simulated.Flow is generated by the leftverticalboundary wall which slides in its own plane at constant speed and other walls are fixed. Right and left walls are isothermal and other ones are adiabatic. Moving wall has higher temperature than left wall and temperature difference between them caused heat transfer in cavity. The Bossinesq approximation is employed and simulations were done for different ranges of Re, Pr and Gr Numbers. Numerical simulations were done by using pressure-based finite volume method. In order to achieve thermal characteristics of flow in cavity, both momentum and energy equations were solved. 2D, Steady state Navier-Stokes and energy equations were discretiziedusing finite volume method.According to results, In Case of Gr/Re2<<1, the buoyancy effect is over-whelmed by the effect of the sliding lid and the prominence of buoyancy effects is discernible throughout the cavity when Gr/Re2>>1. Also,It was concluded that increasing of Gr number enhances the heat transfer for fixed values of Re number and Heat transfer and fluidflow are strongly affected from the changing of location centerof the circular body. According to obtained results, higher heat transfer is formed whenthe body locates near the top side of the cavity..Outcome results were compared with available ones and good agreement between them were found
