چکیده

Many academic journals like the Leadership Quarterly, Organization, Journal of Social Economics, Journal of Organizational Change Management, Journal of Management Education, and others, have brought out special issues or published articles on different aspects of spirituality (Kumpikaite, 2009).The effect of spirituality at the workplace can spill over into employees’ home life, marriage, social interaction, and so on, which in turn, positively affects their work performance (Bromet et al. 1990; Jurkiewicz and Giacalone 2004). Nur (2003) found in his study that organizations managed by spiritual values earned better returns within a period of five years. Moreover, meta-analysis by Dent et al. (2005) showed the positive association of spirituality with productivity.Therefore, the rationale for this study lies in the fact that people in different parts of the world have a spiritual quest.The aim of this paper is to present theoretical insights of spirituality in organization and results of empirical study employees‘ opinion about spiritual values at work in two organizations helping and taking care about eldery people.Keywords: Spiritual values, Organization, Employees Morale.This paper is divided in to three parts. The first one presents theoretical insights of spirituality. The second part introduces with methodology of the study and the last one presents results of this study.
