چکیده مقاله:

Single-stranded DNA with G-rich sequences can fold into secondary structures, Gquadruplexes,via intramolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions that offer a unique K(+)binding site in the intramolecular tetraplex folding to form a guanine quartet. Thisconformational change can be detected by a homogeneous assay method based onfluorescence. Herein an aptamer-based potassium sensing biosensor was constructed whichcan detect K(+) in the range of 0-1.4 mM. We observed that Na(+) does not interfere.
