Numerical odeling, imulation and optimization of high performance CIGS1 solar cell have been carried out in this paper using SILVACO. Effect of physicalparameters on the performance of CIGS thin-film solar cells is examined. Solar cell fabrication is a timeconsuming and expensive process, so changing physicalparameter during the fabrication process is not applicable. The purpose of this paper is modeling and simulation of thin film solar cells in order to designinghigh efficiency thin film solar cells. Optimized values of physical parameters including doping concentrations of absorber and buffer layers and thickness of the absorber and buffer layers has been calculated, numerically.
