خلاصه مقاله:
Exact similarity solution of the Navier-Stokes equation for an axisymmetric stagnation flow obliquely impinging on a permeable rotating circular cylinder is presented. The outer stream is composed of an axial flow superposed into irrotational radial stagnation flow normal to the cylinder. The flow is sucked into the cylinder with uniform velocity 0 U . The viscous problem is reduced to a system of differential equations governed by a Reynolds number (Re) and the non-dimensional wall transpiration rate (S). Two term asymptotic solution is calculated for large values of Re, and S where numerical integration gets increasingly unstable.
