چکیده
In this paper simulation of the Rutland windturbine is presented. Different mechanical and electricalparts and elements in the system are precisely modelled.The power coefficient curve modelling is selected as theappropriate model, among the blade element theory,empirical modelling and the power curve modelling. Thepower coefficient curve is found through a series of windtunnel tests. As the wind speed estimation at the turbinelocation is problematic, three anemometers have beenutilised to measure the wind speed around the wind turbine.A new model is developed, in this paper, for betterestimation of the wind speed at the wind turbine locationfrom the three measurements. For validating the simulation,the power spectrum comparison of the signals in simulationand the real measurements, is incorporated. The sources oferrors between the simulation and the measurements areexplained. It is presented in this paper that how the modelcan be utilised to investigate control of the wind turbines.کلیدواژه ها
