Nano glass flakes (NGF) were melt mixed directly into a matrix poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA). In this paper, the influences of the ratio of PMMA/NGF on physical and optical properties were investigated. DSC analysis was showed that the glass transition temperature of the samples slightly increased and then decreased with increasing NGF contents. According to UV-Vis results the composition at 0.5wt% NGF gave the higher transparency than the others, so it has potential to use for optical devices such as solar cell. Furthermore, this combination indicated the maximum value of tensile strength and elongation at break in compare to the other compositions
