GEARBOX FAULT DETECTION USING VIBRATION SIGNALS BASED ON THE METHOD OF HILBERT

Today vibration analysis is the strongest and most common method of detecting and determining fault in gears of the gearbox. Vibration analysis for condition assessment and fault diagnostics has a long history in application of power and mechanical equipment. In this study, one gear of PAYKAN’s gearbox is used for gearbox fault detection test as one teeth of the gear is removed in four stages. The progress of the corrosion of 15% tooth continues until it is completely removed. In this paper a new technique for detection of gearbox faults using vibration signals is based on Hilbert method. Tests are done for recording signals of the transmission’s gear in states normal and faulty and different periods and loads, by a powerful device called Vibro test 60. The device is recorded signals in frequency_ amplitude diagram by FFT method. For using Hilbert method had to converted frequency_ amplitude diagrams to frequency_ time diagrams beside for get to the parameters time domain, signals are filtered, so they are extracted from the original signal. Thus the remaining signals and subtracted the corresponding definition of the middle band are extracted from the original signal. It is extracted after obtaining the spectrum signal using FFT in MATLAB software-defined frequency spectrum, the signal is removed and then centuries of the use of IFFT signals are obtained when it is desired then the Hilbert method is used. Then considering the practical conditions and environmental tests, the Wavelet analysis and a number of time indicator domains are used for fault diagnosis in gear under test. In order to troubleshoot the operation of the automatic gear system based on information extracted from parameters troubleshooting, a phase system is designed. The system's input parameters are extracted from the experimental tests in the diagnosis and they have a good performance in the parameters of the time domain. It has a membership function with three outputs that include safe, semi-intact and it is being spoiled. In order to provide automatic troubleshooting operation with using LABVIEW software and its relationship with the user interface and the MATLAB program is to build that phase system output as a numeric value between 0_100 and the next dialog box will report the health status of the gear.
