چکیده

Tourism is one of the world's fastest growing industries as well as the major source of foreign exchange earning and employment for many developing countries. Iran's tourism industry is affected by many different sanctions that are imposed by western countries such as US, UN, EU and others. Economic sanctions are defined as the exercise of pressure by one state to bring about a change in political behaviour of another state. This paper investigated the effect of sanctions on Iran's tourism industry and in particular hospitality and aviation industry. The method used for data collection of this paper is reviewing of literature and doing library research and in this regard, first it is explained some definitions about sanction and it's history in Iran, tourism, hospitality and aviation industry and then it is investigated the positive and negative effects of sanction on hospitality and aviation industry and at the end with regard to findings will make a conclusion and some recommendations.
