چکیده

A new correlation is developed to calculate the concentration of Iron ions Fe (2+) (ferrious Ion) which will stay in solution at various PH values and a wide rang of H2S concentrations in Crud oil desalting plants disposal wastewaters. When different wastewaters are mixed it is necessary to evaluate the Compatibility of wastewaters prior to injection in the disposal wells. Scale formation and injection disposal well plugging will occurs if mixing two or more wastewaters which are incompatible. The individual wastewaters may be quite stable at all system conditions and present no scale problems. However, once they are mixed, reaction between ions dissolved in the individual wastewaters may form insoluble products. When this occurs. The wastewaters are said to be incompatible. It would be a mistake to mix a wastewater which contained Iron Lons with a wastewater containing H2S. Because Depending on the amounts of each constituent present, the PH and the ratio in which the two waters are mixed, you might expect iron sulfide. Iron sulfide scale often plugs flow paths in the reservoir, perforations, pump intakes, and tubulars, causing restricted wastewater injection id disposal wells, in a similar manner.
