چکیده

Plasma catalysis holds significant potential for advancing CO₂ utilization technologies, with a major research challenge being the optimization of the interaction between plasma and catalysts. While current efforts primarily concentrate on developing effective catalyst systems, there has been relatively limited focus on exploring metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and cold plasma techniques. In this context, the present study examines the hydrogenation of CO₂ under ambient temperature and pressure conditions using a bimetallic ZIF-۶۷ MOF catalyst, assisted by a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma reactor. NiCo-based ZIF-۶۷ catalysts were synthesized and analyzed using various characterization methods. The combined effects of DBD plasma and the bimetallic MOF on CO₂ conversion to methanol were evaluated. Key operational parameters, including gas flow rate and input voltage, were optimized. Under optimal conditions (۶۰ ml/min flow rate and ۱۰ kV input voltage), the bimetallic ZIF-۶۷ achieved a CO₂ conversion rate of ۹۰.۳%, a methanol selectivity of ۹۸.۱%, and an energy efficiency of ۴.۸ mmol/kJ.
