چکیده

Artificial intelligence in modern society has rapidly moved from an area-specific branch of inquiry to an important driver transforming almost every aspect of human endeavor. This paper is a descriptive as well as an interpretative account of the current state of AI, marking its technological progress, social impacts, and ethical issues. In areas such as natural language, computer vision, driverless cars, and predictive modeling, AI technologies are no longer confined to the lab; they are integral components of everyday life, determining areas such as healthcare, education, finance, and governance.The study discusses the transformative effect of artificial intelligence on labor markets, improved decision-making paradigms, and reassessment of traditional views in light of creativity, individual privacy, and individual freedoms. Analyzing present-day global processes, such as the emergence of AI in generative processes and governance, the paper sheds light on the contradictory nature of AI, which brings benefits as well as threats. Although AI brings unprecedented opportunities for overcoming complex problems, it also brings important concerns about bias, surveillance, and concentration of powers in a few tech companies.Taking an interpretative research paradigm, the paper investigates the various reactions of cultures, governments, and societies to such changes, underlining the need for frameworks that value people and inclusiveness in AI development. Rather than portraying AI as a monolithic, homogeneous entity, such research describes AI as an ever-changing and dynamic ecosystem shaped by human choice, value, and institutional environments. The findings underscore the imperative need for building ethical and dynamic strategies to ensure AI serves as a tool for sustainable and inclusive progress.
