چکیده

The rapid evolution of healthcare has prompted significant innovation in nursing education, integrating advanced technologies such as simulation-based learning, virtual and augmented reality, e-learning platforms, artificial intelligence, and gamification. These advancements enhance accessibility, facilitate individualized and practical learning experiences, and improve assessment precision. However, their adoption also introduces challenges, including high implementation costs, the need for comprehensive training for faculty and students, infrastructural limitations, and concerns regarding diminished human interaction and resistance to change. Addressing these barriers requires institutional investment, structured training programs, technical support, cultural change initiatives, and ongoing evaluation of technological effectiveness. Evidence from recent studies highlights the positive impact of digital solutions in preparing nursing students for the complexities of modern practice, while also underscoring the necessity for continuous curriculum updates and strategic planning. Ultimately, integrating innovative technologies holds considerable promise for improving the quality, equity, and relevance of nursing education, ensuring that future nurses are not only clinically competent but also adaptable and skilled in navigating a digitally transforming healthcare environment.
