Numerical Study on the Effect of Shear Reinforcement Arrangement on the Shear Capacity of Concrete Slab-column Connection

چکیده

Among different methods of shear reinforcement of slab cross-section, such as slab reinforcement, shear studs, FRP fibers, etc., in this study, different aspects of using shear studs, the history of its use, and related research have been studied and modeled by computer (using finite element software). One potential problem with orthogonal designs is that large sections of slab that continue from the corners of the column and outward (outside the column support range) have not been substantially strengthened against shear. This problem can be resolved when using radially arranged rails. Some studies have shown that the pattern of shear studs (radial vs. orthogonal) has no effect on the shear strength of slab-to-column connections. After studying the previous research and comparing the results and rooting their inconsistencies, the research variables were selected according to the radial or orthogonal arrangement of the shear stud bands and the different percentages of the slab-column bending reinforcement ratio.it was found that by increasing the proportion of bending reinforcement ratios, the shear capacity of the punch was increased sufficiently, so that the radial or orthogonal arrangement had little effect on the shear capacity of the punch. Also, at low percentages of the ratio of flexural cross-section reinforcement (below eight-tenths of a percent), the radial arrangement showed a better performance.
