چکیده مقاله:
Mountain sport tourism destinations represent a critically vulnerable segment of the tourism industry, increasingly impacted by the multifaceted effects of climate change. These effects manifest in various forms, such as reduced snow cover, altered seasonal patterns, and growing threats to both environmental integrity and economic viability. Achieving resilience in this context transcends the reliance on physical infrastructure and technological advancements; it necessitates the strategic mobilization of human and social capacities inherent in local communities and stakeholder networks. Social capital—an intangible yet valuable asset characterized by trust, participation, networks, and shared norms—plays a pivotal role in empowering these communities to effectively respond to climate-induced shocks. In parallel, robust stakeholder networks, encompassing government agencies, private sector entities, tourists, local residents, and civil society organizations, can foster adaptive and context-specific strategies through collaborative mechanisms and value co-creation processes. This study aims to explore and analyze the dual role of social capital and stakeholder dynamics in amplifying the climate resilience of mountain sport tourism destinations, employing a mixed-methods approach to gather comprehensive insights. The anticipated outcome includes the development of a conceptual model of socio-network resilience, which will provide actionable recommendations for policymakers, planners, and destination managers to design more effective and community-centric adaptation interventions. Additionally, this research seeks to make significant contributions to the interdisciplinary literature at the interface of tourism, climate adaptation, and social capital theory, thereby enriching academic discourse and practical applications in this crucial domain.
