چکیده

This study explores the impact of proprioceptive training exercises on gait parameters in individuals with ankle sprains. Proprioception plays a crucial role in maintaining balance and coordination, particularly for those recovering from ankle injuries, which can significantly alter gait patterns and increase the risk of re-injury. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to analyze existing research on the effects of proprioceptive interventions on gait characteristics such as step length, cadence, and stability. The methodology involved a systematic review of peer-reviewed articles focusing on proprioceptive training in populations with a history of ankle sprains. Key findings indicate that proprioceptive exercises lead to significant improvements in gait stability and overall performance. In conclusion, proprioceptive training is an effective strategy for enhancing gait parameters and preventing future injuries in individuals with ankle sprains. The integration of these exercises into rehabilitation protocols can facilitate better recovery outcomes and improve the quality of life for affected individuals. Future research should focus on long-term effects and the potential of innovative technologies, such as virtual reality and wearable sensors, to further enhance proprioceptive training methodologies. This study underscores the importance of proprioception in rehabilitation and highlights the need for continued exploration in this vital area of sports medicine
