چکیده مقاله:
Background and Objective: The right to food is one of the fundamental human rights and a pillar of economic, social, and cultural rights. This right is of particular importance for victimized children, who face multilayered physical, psychological, and social harms. This article aims to clarify the position of the right to food for victimized children in international instruments and Iranian law, and to analyze its protective dimensions with a victimological approach. Methods: This study is descriptive-analytical in nature and is based on library research, international human rights instruments, national legislation, and academic perspectives in the fields of child rights and victimology. Findings: The findings indicate that although the right to food is explicitly recognized in international instruments such as the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, it is not specifically guaranteed for victimized children in Iranian law. Significant gaps exist in identifying, supporting, and empowering this group. Furthermore, weak social policymaking and lack of coordination among support institutions hinder the full realization of this right. Conclusion: To ensure the right to food for victimized children, there is a need to reform and strengthen domestic legislation, develop coherent support policies, and improve inter-institutional cooperation. An integrated approach combining human rights, victimology, and social policy can pave the way for effective protection of this vulnerable group.
