چکیده

Background: Melanoma is the most serious type of skin cancer and surgery is an effective way to treat melanoma. Therefore, the formulation of hydrogel wound dressings based on chitosan or in combination with other polymers such as alginate can improve wound healing after surgery and reduce adverse factors affecting its healing. One of the nanoparticles that are loaded in wound dressings to improve hydrogel properties is copper oxide nanoparticles. Methods: Copper nanoparticle was chemically synthesized and analyzed by XRD, DLS, Zeta, FTIR, TEM, then the nanoparticle was loaded in chitosan-alginate hydrogel and analyzed by EFSEM, FTIR, as well as anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and antimicrobial behavior, cell toxicity and adhesion, cell migration in vitro, wound healing in vivo, histology of skin wounds, cancer gene disruption, water vapor permeability test, drug release test, hemolysis and blood coagulation dynamic evaluation, measurement Mechanical properties (Young's modulus and modulus of elasticity) will be evaluated. Results: We developed a biological hydrogel wound dressing enriched with copper nanoparticles, which can effectively inhibit local tumor recurrence and tumor metastasis, and in addition, it induces angiogenesis and cell adhesion, has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Conclusion: Wound dressings consisting of biopolymers as regenerative components and natural anti-cancer agents as preventive components of cancer recurrence can be ideal candidates for regenerative applications in skin cancer.
