Designing a Selection Rule for Highly Undetectable Steganographic Schemes

This paper presents a complete method fordesigning a non-shared selection rule in order to construct highlyundetectable steganographic schemes. First, we define theindividual pixel change costs using a weighted norm ofsteganalytic features and directional residuals. We use cooccurrencematrices as a reliable model for steganalysis. Also,directional residuals are used for determining the predictabilityof the pixel in a certain direction. Then, we simulate the impact ofembedding changes and test using steganalyzers. This isimportant for steganographers to focus on implementing higherundetectable stego-systems. The statistical delectability measuresshow better security when embedding the message bits in pixelswith low cost.
