چکیده مقاله:

Various industries are being transformed by artificial intelligence, automating systems and enhancing data analysis. A benefit of AI that some may take for granted is that it provides a glide path to personalized services across many industries, allowing predictive maintenance and data-driven decision-making that makes our everyday lives a bit smoother. Cybersecurity should be no exception to these AI benefits. By using AI and its various methodologies—machine learning, deep learning, etc.—in cybersecurity, we can automate systems, scale operations, and enhance decision-making capabilities. But there are also ethical concerns about AI's increasing integration into our security systems that are not being discussed nearly enough. As AI becomes more prevalent, it is vital to tackle these essential problems to realize the technology's potential and ensure fundamental rights and safeguards are upheld. The development of AI systems must be guided by ethical principles that prioritize the protection of user data, the transparency of the systems and their operations, and the privacy of all involved. Measures must be put in place to establish clear accountability, to enable continuous monitoring, and to allow for thorough testing of the systems—measures that, taken together, are meant to reduce and control for risks that the systems may present when they are turned loose on the world. Proactive attention to these concerns is meant to build public confidence that AI will serve rather than subvert individual rights.
