In order to obtain the bulk brick likesamples, the mixture of steel slag, andsintering aid additive (like dolomite, glass,perlite, borax and phosphate sodium) weresintered at 1100°C for 2 minutes. The bulkdensities of final sintered composites werein the range of 1.3 to 2.41 g/cm3 and totalporosities were from 15 to 40%. Thebending strengths varied in 5.5 to 15.9 MPa.
