چکیده مقاله:
The present study aimed to have a look over teaching interpretation and training interpreters in Iranian universities. This study tried to find an adequate answer to three major questions first of which is the existence of any strategies in interpretation classes, and if there are any, the use of common strategies by interpretation instructors and the third one is the probable existence of any regularities among teachers and instructors teaching interpretation courses. In order to find the answer, a questionnaire was designed by the researcher to find the answer for the above-mentioned questions. These questionnaires were distributed among instructors and professors of interpretation in two universities of Payam-Noor in Bonab and Islamic Azad University in Maragheh. The validity of this questionnaire was evaluated by giving it to some of the instructors in its primary design level to see if it collected the data intended to be collected. Its reliability was also calculated through Cronbach alpha formula of SPSS computer application and it proved to have a high reliability of 0.77. Eight instructors who were teaching interpretation in the current term were asked to answer the questionnaires. Findings of the study revealed that there is no fixed and written strategy among the teachers of interpretation in the universities under study
