چکیده

The fundamental and very important role of scales in the iron ore concentrate industry is very significant and tangible. Accordingly, sensitivity in measuring the exact weight of the materials causes greater focus on the production of steel concentrate and pellets from the beginning of the entrance raw materials into the crusher to the end i.e. the place where the concentrate is loaded or transferred to the pelletizing lines. Therefore, using a regular and accurate method to calibrate the weighing system in a regular time constant is essential compared to evaluating the scale equipment. Although there are four common methods to calibrate a weighing system, the chain calibration method is reviewed and introduced in this article due to its high accuracy and ability to simulate real loads. Also, the designing and construction of an innovative device is presented to improve the performance of this system.
