چکیده

Affordable housing, as one of the fundamental principles of sustainable urban development, has a direct impact on improving social equity, reducing inequality, and enhancing citizens’ quality of life. This article aims to explore the integration of affordable housing into urban planning by analyzing policies, designs, and technological innovations related to this field. In the theoretical literature review section, concepts such as affordable housing, urban sustainability, and the role of modern technologies in optimizing housing planning are examined. The research methodology utilizes a qualitative approach and systematic content analysis, with data collected from case studies, policy documents, and semi-structured interviews with experts. The findings of the study reveal that the lack of effective policy support, weaknesses in sustainable design and limited use of modern technologies are among the main challenges in achieving affordable housing. In response to these challenges, solutions are presented in three key areas: policy-making, including reforming regulations and policies, strengthening intersectoral collaboration and allocating sustainable financial resources; design, including the application of sustainable design principles, the use of local and cost-effective materials, and the creation of appropriate public spaces; and technology, including the use of ۳D printing, smart energy systems, and advanced construction technologies. This article strives to facilitate the integration of affordable housing into urban planning by offering comprehensive and practical approaches, thereby contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
