چکیده

Today, a healthy environment is of great importance for human life. Therefore, designers, officials, and experts must design it in such a way that the living conditions and living in it always have the necessary order, logic, and beauty. Furniture and urban landscape are important elements of cities that directly affect the quality of urban space through observation and exploitation. Although these elements play an effective role in the sustainability of the urban environment, so far, attention to the environmental dimension in the design of urban elements has been limited, spontaneous, and limited to individual creativity, and the factors affecting the relevant ecological sustainability have not been codified, integrated and formulated in the form of urban design principles and components. Therefore, the present study aims to achieve principles and provide components for designing environmentally friendly urban furniture in order to create ecological sustainability of urban environments and consider clean renewable energies that can help to preserve the environment and the health of future generations. The present study, using a descriptive-analytical method and library and field methods, examined the design of green urban spaces and ecological furniture in line with sustainable urban development. The results of the present study show that organic design, the type of materials used, the recyclability of materials, the maximum use of renewable energy, the maximum use of vegetation, and attention to topology and environmental conditions are among the most important components of environmentally friendly furniture design.
