The current study aimed to Comparing the immediate effect of linear and non-linear learning strategy on landing kinematics in female athletes with dynamic knee valgus. Thirty-four female athletes from three sports of basketball, volleyball, and handball were selected for this study and were randomly divided into two groups: linear strategy (n = ۱۷) and non-linear strategy (n = ۱۷) groups. Groups followed the immediate intervention for twenty minutes. Data were analyzed by means of ۲ × ۲ repeated measures ANOVA followed by post hoc comparison (Bonferroni) at the significance level of p ≤ ۰. A significant group × time interaction was found only for peak knee flexion angle. Significant main effects of time were found for all variables of the study. Linear and non-linear strategies positively reduced the kinematic variables that are considered risk factors for ACL injury. However, the effect sizes (partial eta squared) for the changes in most of the variables were larger for the non-linear strategy group. Both linear and non-linear training strategies were effective in reducing kinematic risk factors for the knee in athletes with dynamic knee valgus. However, given the greater improvements observed with the non-linear approach, coaches and athletes are encouraged to prioritize exercise variation over repetition to maximize benefits.
