چکیده
This study evaluated heart rate (HR) and blood pressure, two important physiological indicators influenced by resistance training. Ten young men with at least six months of resistance training experience participated in the study, and three different resistance training protocols at varying intensities (۴۰%, ۶۰%, and ۸۰% of one-repetition maximum) were applied to assess the effects of these different intensities on the two physiological factors. Before each training session, participants were seated at rest for five minutes to precisely measure their resting heart rate and blood pressure. This measurement was performed using the Polar H۱۰ chest strap, which also recorded heart rate variability (HRV). The data was transmitted directly to the HRV Elite software, allowing for continuous monitoring of the participants’ physiological status. The Polar H۱۰ enabled real-time, uninterrupted recording of heart rate and blood pressure changes, which were then analyzed during and after the training session. After each session, the participants' blood pressure was measured repeatedly, six times at ۱۰-minute intervals over the course of one hour. This method allowed researchers to observe blood pressure changes during the recovery period. The results showed that resistance exercise, even at lower intensities, led to a post-exercise decrease in blood pressure. This decrease, known as "post-exercise hypotension," indicates the positive effects of resistance training on cardiovascular health. In addition to blood pressure, heart rate increased following the workout but gradually decreased during the recovery period, returning to near-resting levels. The collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS software, and the results indicated that exercise intensity significantly impacted changes in both blood pressure and heart rate. The ۴۰% one-repetition maximum protocol resulted in the greatest decrease in blood pressure, followed by the ۶۰% and ۸۰% protocols, respectively, which produced progressively smaller reductions in blood pressure.Overall, this study demonstrated that resistance training at various intensities can effectively improve cardiovascular health indicators such as lowering blood pressure and regulating heart rate. Lower-intensity protocols were more effective in reducing blood pressure, while higher-intensity protocols led to a greater increase in heart rate. These findings suggest that resistance training can play an important role in enhancing cardiovascular health in active individuals.کلیدواژه ها
