چکیده

This study evaluates the influence of particle size distribution and Blaine number on the drop number ofgreen pellets from hematite concentrate, ground using High-Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGR). The goal was to pelletizethe concentrate with a Blaine number around ۱۶۷۰ cm²/g. The number of HPGR stages minimally impacted achievingoptimal P۸۰ and P۶۰ values. To enhance outcomes, particles larger than ۱۰۶ microns should be removed throughgrinding before processing. Ultimately, a concentrate with P۸۰ = ۶۳ μm and P۶۰ = ۳۱ μm yielded optimal green pelletproperties, resulting in a drop number of ~۵.۶ and fewer grinding stages.
