چکیده

In this article, the timed impact of a high-speed projectile on the surface of an aluminum-composite-aluminum sandwich panel is numerically simulated using the Lagrangian method and Abaqus finite element software. The projectile is considered in the simulation of a rigid body and the lattice of aluminum and composite sheets is created in Lagrangian form. In this research, projectile impact simulation has been done at three launch angles of ۳۰, ۴۵ and ۶۰ degrees. The sandwich layers are made of aluminum ۶۰۶۱ and the middle layer is made of CFRP composite, and the thickness of each layer is ۳ mm. In fact, in this article, the dynamic stress-strain analysis as well as the analysis of the collision of the projectile with full degrees of freedom with the surfaces of the sandwich layer using the Lagrangian method have been discussed. In this article, the projectiles are in the form of spherical and conical cylindrical projectiles, and the amount of energy absorption of sandwich sheets under the effect of the ballistic impact of the projectile has been analyzed analytically. In the analytical model, it is assumed that the sandwich layers and the composite core will collapse due to the medium resistance pressure, so the amount of destruction of the sandwich sheet is equal to the sum of the amount of destruction by the aluminum and composite layers. Finally, after the simulation, the amount of stress on the sandwich panel has been presented and compared with each other.
