چکیده

Connecting the shores of lakes, seas, or rivers has always been one of the main concerns of engineering, which is a basic requirement for the development of areas around a waterway. Today, this issue is still very important and several infrastructures have been built in the past years around the world, such as the Channel Tunnel (connecting the coast of France with the UK), the submerged tunnel under construction in the Bosphorus Strait (Turkey) or the suspension bridge that connects Calabria and Sicily was designed in the Strait of Messina (Italy) and is under construction. A Submerged Floating Tunnel (SFT) basically consists of a pipe that is submerged and floats in deep water and maintains the minimum distance allowed for the free passage of ships on the sea surface. These tunnels are fixed in their position through anchor systems consisting of cables, rods or piles connected to the seabed, or floats floating on the water surface. The tunnel is permanently exposed to its own weight and the buoyancy force from the water side, and generally the cross section of the tunnel is designed in such a way that the buoyancy force overcomes the weight of the structure. In this research, to simulate the submerged tunnel with a new geometry in two different designs consisting of two internal (elliptical) and external (circular) cross-sections, where the internal cross-section or structure floats in the outer structure, by the mooring system at three points. ۱۲۰ degrees connected, under the effect of loading, including the deflection of the subway in the tunnel and collision with the inner wall of the tunnel. In this simulation, the behavior of the submerged tunnel under the impact of the derailed subway with a mass of ۲۵۰ tons and a speed of about ۸۰ km/h has been analyzed.
