The vibration analysis of cylindrical panels underconstant axial loads is studied. In this paper, Love’s firstapproximation theory is utilized to derive the equations ofmotion taking into account the effects of the centrifugalforce, coriolis acceleration and initial hoop tension. TheNavier method is used to investigate critical angle andstability of cylindrical panels subjected to constant axialloads. To validate the proposed analysis, comparisons aremade with existing results in the literature and goodagreement is obtained.
