چکیده

Technological advancements continue to drive transformation and foster innovation across the construction industry. The increasing digitization within this sector provides a unique opportunity to reshape modern construction practices and redefine the processes behind design and project delivery. Since the early ۲۰۰۰s, Building Information Modeling (BIM) has emerged as a critical tool within Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC). Although BIM technology has seen significant progress, its full potential remains largely untapped, as it has not yet been widely embraced by industry professionals. The challenges and risks associated with BIM adoption may be contributing to its limited integration. This paper examines the current state of BIM adoption, highlighting both its extensive benefits and the existing obstacles. Additionally, the paper offers insights into potential strategies to overcome these challenges and promote greater use of BIM in future developments.
