Today, the use of extrusion ۳D printers makes it possible to produce ceramic parts with complex shapes and has led to the elimination of the need for molds to produce ceramics. For this reason, producing ceramic parts using additive manufacturing methods has several advantages, such as reducing the cost of manufacturing parts and eliminating defects caused by the use of molds. One of the additive manufacturing methods for ceramics is the use of extrusion base ۳D printers. In these printers, ceramic powders are made into a paste along with binders, solvents and other additives, and printed by the printer layer by layer onto a suitable substrate, so it is very important to find the most printable paste for making ceramic parts. In this article, the production of pastes with a high percentage of alumina containing PVA binder was studied and by varying the amount of ceramic powder, polymer binder and additives such as dispersant and plasticizer, an attempt was made to find the best ceramic paste for printing, so that the paste in the extrusion base ۳D printer has the ability to exit and form a continuous filament, and the parts produced by the printer have initial strength to maintain their original appearance. In the end, it was found that the addition of dispersant and plasticizer, together with the appropriate amount of binder, can significantly increase amount of ceramic particles used in the paste.
