چکیده

The care and security necessary to continue a healthy physical and mental life is one of the important duties of the family.All over the world, children are the most vulnerable and weakest segment of society, who will not be able to continue living without the necessary care.It is not without reason that the United Nations has dedicated a part of its work to the protection of children's rights and has tried to draw the attention of humanity to their fragility and homelessness in the absence of family, social and global support. During infancy, children grow rapidly.His weight doubles in ۴ to ۶ months from birth and triples in one year. Also, in a one-year process, non-fat tissues increase and body water percentage decreases.Nutritional deficiencies in children can irreversibly inhibit their growth and maturity, so that they can never reach their genetic growth potential. Infant or child growth over time by measuring weight, height and head circumference.and its registration is evaluated. After two years of age, body mass index or BMI is mainly used to check weight in relation to height.Although it is not desirable for infants to become obese, there is no conclusive evidence that obese infants will necessarily become obese adults.Severe restriction of energy intake is not recommended for infants, because it may slow down the growth of various systems in his body.When infants do not grow sufficiently, the root cause of their stunting may be physical illness or poor care, including improper feeding practices.
