چکیده مقاله:
Urban flooding presents significant challenges, exacerbated by warning climate change, rapidurbanization, and inadequate stormwater management. This paper explores the complexities of urban floodrisk assessment and the integration of innovative water management systems and technologies. Traditionalmethods, such as probabilistic risk assessment (PRA), provide a foundational understanding of flood hazardsbut are limited in addressing the dynamic and multifaceted nature of urban environments. The adoption ofsmart water management systems, which use real-time data and predictive modeling, offers a more adaptiveand responsive approach to flood mitigation. Additionally, integrating cutting-edge water treatmenttechnologies enhances the capability to manage and purify flood-affected water, improving resilience andreducing public health risks. However, the implementation of these systems is hindered by various challenges, including technical, regulatory, financial, and socio-economic barriers. These obstacles complicate theeffective deployment of green infrastructure (GI) and the development of sustainable flood risk managementstrategies. Through a comprehensive review of existing methodologies and emerging technologies, this paperhighlights the need for a more integrated and proactive approach to urban flood management, emphasizingthe importance of overcoming these impediments to enhance urban resilience
