چکیده
Materials that store thermal energy as a result of heat of fussion are called phase change material(PCM) . One of the important problems in phase change systems is the leakage during phase changefrom solid to liquid. To solve this problem, one of the methods is to create shape stability byelastomeric systems. In this research, paraffin wax has been used and stabilized in the amorphouschain structure of EPDM rubber.Therefore, the EPDM/paraffin wax phase change system wasobtained in thermal energy storage evaluations with a performance equal to ۸۸% of absorption energyof pure paraffin and thermal energy absorption equal to ۳۵% in the time-temperature history test.Meanwhile, the percentage of molten paraffin wax leakage from the system is less than ۰.۸ wt.%.کلیدواژه ها
