چکیده
In this study, ternary blends of plasticized PVC/PMMA/PLA were prepared via melt blending in aco-rotating twin-screw extruder. The effect of PMMA content on phase behavior, shear rheologicalproperties and Izod impact strength of the samples in comparison with binary PVC/PLA (۷۰/۳۰ wt.%)blends were investigated. It was found that at fixed total PVC portion, substituting ۱۰ wt.% of PLAby PMMA has resulted in a ternary blend (PVC۷۰/PMMA۱۰/PLA۲۰) with a positive-deviation ofcomplex viscosity from the mixture rule as well as higher impact strength compared to the binaryPVC۷۰/PLA۳۰ blend. However, by substituting ۱۰ more wt.% of PLA by PMMA in the ternary blend(PVC۷۰/PMMA۲۰/PLA۱۰), a negative-deviation of rheological properties from the mixture rulealong with lower impact strength in comparison with the reference PVC۷۰/PLA۳۰ blend wereobserved. It was concluded that ۱۰ wt.% PMMA can have a compatibilizing effect for PVC/PLAsystems while increasing the concentration of PMMA to ۲۰ wt.% in the same system leads to a reverseeffect and promotes incompatibility.کلیدواژه ها
