چکیده

Smart fluids demonstrate abrupt alterations in rheological attributes, such as viscosity and yield stress,in reaction to external stimuli. Specifically, electric field-responsive fluids, known aselectrorheological fluids, comprise an insulating fluid containing suspended particles that transmitefrom a liquid to a semi-solid state under the influence of an electric field. Notable for their rapidresponsivity, reversible nature, and capability for environmental regulation, these fluids havegarnered attention. Chitosan, recognize for its excellent dispersion properties and possession ofpolarizable functional groups, has attracted research interest for application in electrorheologicalcontexts. Furthermore, the integration of electrically conductive additives like zinc oxide is beingexplored to enhance the conductivity of the mixture while minimizing environmental repercussions.This study combines cellulose fibers and zinc oxide in chitosan polymer, analyzing raw materialsthrough FTIR and investigating the resulting of electrorheological behavior in edible oil.
