چکیده

A block copolymer of N,N-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) and methylmethacrylate (MMA) was synthesized using a reversible fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT)process. This copolymer is known to be amphiphilic, meaning it has both hydrophilic andhydrophobic properties, allowing it to be used as a macrourfactant. The molecular structure of thecopolymers was characterized using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and Fouriertransform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The thermal properties of the copolymer were evaluatedusing thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).
