چکیده

The incorporation of fillers in polypropylene (PP) is a widely recognized method to modify itsproperties for various applications. This study delves into the effect of different fillers on theshrinkage behavior of PP, a crucial factor in maintaining dimensional stability in the final product.We examined a range of inorganic and organic fillers, including talc, calcium carbonate and glassfibers, to determine their impact on the thermal and mechanical properties of PP. The fillers wereincorporated at varying concentrations and the composite materials were subjected to thermal cyclingtests. The results indicate that the type and content of filler significantly influence the shrinkage ofPP. Inorganic fillers like talc and glass fibers reduced shrinkage due to their higher thermal stabilityand reinforcement effect. The findings of this study provide valuable insights into the selection ofappropriate fillers for PP to minimize shrinkage and enhance the performance of the final product
