Polymer alloys are the physical composition of polymers with different structures that are mixedtogether without establishing a chemical bond. Sometimes, to increase the compatibility, a thirdcomponent is added to the alloys, which must be compatible with other components and not have anegative effect on the properties of the alloy. One of the reasons for paying attention to polymeralloying is the possibility of using recycled polymers. In this research, polyethylene terephthalate andrecycled polycarbonate were used. Also, the role of tin (II) ethyl hexanoate catalyst and silica nanohybridin increasing the compatibility and miscibility of primary polymers was studied. ۷ desiredsamples were prepared with a fixed amount of polyethylene terephthalate, polycarbonate and catalyst,and the desired variable was considered to be silica nanohybrid. The desired samples were analyzedby ۲ analyses, which include: Izod analysis and water contact angle. According to the investigations,the best amount of catalyst to optimize the desired alloy is ۰.۱% by weight to make alloy nanohybrid.The results obtained from the Izod analysis show that the most optimized catalyst and the highestimpact resistance is when the amount of silica nanoparticles used in the alloy in the sample contains۲%, and the result was ۳۳.۶۵ j/m. Also, in the analysis of the contact angle of water, the maximumoptimization of the catalyst with silica nanoparticles was when the amount of silica used was ۲.۵%,which led to a result of ۸۱.۳ degrees.
