چکیده

The biodegradability of poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly (ethylene glycol) foams produced by the batchfoaming technique was investigated. The blowing agent was supercritical carbon dioxide in thissystem. The good interactions in PVA-Peg blends were confirmed using the DSC analysis. It wasconcluded that with the addition of Peg to blends, a significant change was seen in biodegradabilityof samples. Considering the recent resutls, the produced foams are a good candidate for tissueengineering applications.
