چکیده

The purpose of this research is to explore the advantages and obstacles associated with integratingtechnology into English language education. Specifically, the study examines various experiences andbenefits of incorporating technology into English language learning in the context of Iran. Additionally, itaddresses the challenges encountered during the integration process and proposes strategies for overcomingthem. The data was gathered through interviews, and qualitative analysis was employed to investigate theexperiences, benefits, and challenges of utilizing technology in language education. Twelve participantstook part in the study. The findings indicate several benefits of technology integration, including enhancedcoding skills, access to online quizzes and tests, improved response times, higher English test scores,exposure to other foreign languages, opportunities for collaborative learning, fostering independent studyhabits, access to online resources, utilization of multiple computer applications, access to up-to-dateinformation, translation assistance, and opportunities for multimedia presentations to showcase innovativeteaching methods. Challenges identified in technology integration include the selection of appropriatetechnology, rapid technological advancements, teaching multiple classes, large class sizes, financialconstraints, time limitations, age-related issues, faculty workload, technological proficiency, and access tonecessary technology.
