Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital Twins (DT) are transforming the construction industry. Their integration enhances financial management and project accounting, leading to improved productivity and cost efficiency. This paper investigates the merger of DT and BIM in AI-driven construction, using a mixed-methods approach to assess benefits and challenges through surveys, case studies, and interviews. Findings reveal that DT and BIM significantly boost project performance by providing real-time, precise data for better decision-making and process optimization. A case study confirms the framework’s effectiveness, demonstrating cost reduction, improved time management, and increased stakeholder satisfaction. The research offers new insights into the synergy of DT, BIM, and AI, filling a literature gap in construction financial management.
