خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, chemical composition of walnut (Juglans regia L.) core oil was determined. The oil has been obtained using the Soxhlet method (solvent of Hexan), solvent distillation and anhydrous calcium chloride drying. Walnut samples were collected during the 2012 harvest. We report the chemical composition of walnut (Juglans regia L.) the constituents of Iran cultivar of walnut using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometery (GC-MS), the Constituents were identified by their mass spectra and Kovats’ indices. From these components, about 31 could be identified and quantified, comprising over 99.5% of the oil. The main constituents of the oil were: Linoleic acid (38.28%), α-Bisabolol (10.82%), Isopropyl linoleate (5.95%), Nerolidol (5.63%), lavandulol (4.50%) and p-Cymen-8-ol (3.05%), dominating the totally essential oil.
