Transportation terminals are the only common points of the transportation network and the land use network, which play both the role of a node in the transportation network and the role of a public user in the land use network. In addition, the terminal is the only point of access to the transportation network and access to the city, which in the first case provides the possibility of movement and in the second case, provides the users the possibility of using services. The importance of transportation terminals is not hidden to anyone; But this has increased the importance, sensitivity, and impact of this element on the urban structure, so that in large and densely populated cities, while providing access to users, it enables mass movement of network users. Therefore, evaluating the performance of the terminals, along with the planning of sustainable development in the last three decades, has received much attention from researchers and planners. The node-place model is known as one of the practical tools for analyzing and evaluating the performance of transportation terminals, and it has been used in many studies to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of transit oriented development around railway stations. In this study, in addition to updating the previous models, and explaining and explaining the structure of the model, a new structure that can be used to evaluate the performance of all transportation terminals has been presented, with the help of which, transit oriented development can be carried out not only in It was implemented and evaluated around railway stations, but also around all transportation terminals. Also, the new model allows the user to evaluate the performance of one or more terminals over time and predict the performance of the terminal as a result of development plans in the future.
